The World of Minimal G Minimal G takes place of the distant planet Trocken. A dry planet with vast deserts, grasslands, and sparse forests. The planet is one of only seven discovered that has a pre-existing Earth-like native ecology without a need for terraformation. Although humans brought with them their domesticated beasts, Trocken already had an environment teeming with life of it's own. Humans began colonizing the planet in small numbers due to it's harsher environment when compared to the lush environments of the terraformed worlds. However a quarter of a century after the first colonists arrived, interplanetary war broke out. The citizens of Trocken seceded from the Planetary Uninion and to stop an invasion fleet from destroying the entire population, collapsed the only wormhole leading to the system. Now over a century later and cut-off from civilization, the descendents of those colonist are on the brink of a world-war for control of the entire planet. |
